Herb Garden

On Friday I took donations of dresses from The Silver Hanger to the Lone Star College Prom Closet. I also went to a class there on Herb Gardening. The woman in charge of the Prom Closet knew I was going to the class and thought she would do something for me to get me started with this gift of an Herb Garden! It contains cilantro, basil, rosemary, oregano, chives, parsley, lavender and thyme. I have never grown or used herbs before, so hope I can keep them growing and also learn to use them in cooking. Ron has cleaned up the garden, so there is a good place for them to be replanted there.... so we'll see what kind of luck I have with this project.

  1. Herbs gardens are great!!! I love mine and it is really satisfying to just pull off whatever you need (and it saves you $4 or $5 you would've spent at the grocery store for a tiny package). Enjoy!!
